The story behind the Carpe Diem moniker is remarkable in that the logo and the idea originated with a Primal™ bicycling shirt from 2001.
We used it for our 2001 Trek Across Maine team for the
American Lung Association of Maine. The basic idea of the shirt was to encourage less
driving and more biking; on the shirt in one part was printed
"One Less CARp". When it came time to create a name for my business I took
the Latin phrase for "Seize the Day" to show that I wish to help computer
users make the most of today's technology.
